Job Description

This is a chance to join a collaborative environment where you are working very closely with top level management within the New Zealand team. Reporting directly into the GM the role will see you manage all off-premise accounts within the Auckland region. It is a genuine opportunity for someone who wants their voice to be heard within the team, rather than just another cog on the wheel.

The scope is quite large and requires solid Account Management experience with a stellar track record. Building robust customer relationships with accounts such as Glengarry's, Western Auckland Trusts, Tasman and Allied is a large portion of the role and is vital to success. The core focus of the role is to grow existing accounts through best sales practice with an additional element of bringing on board new business.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally you will have experience within the fine wine and spirits industry, or have a genuine passion and interest in wine. The GM is looking for somebody with solid Account Management experience who is articulate, confident and has a keen eye for detail. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and show a savvy numerical ability when faced with sales data and analytics.

Above all you will need to have a voice within the team, a strong propensity for learning, as well as motivation and drive to succeed. An entrepreneurial mindset and strong ability to build and manage relationships from GM to store level in the fine wine sector is also essential.
