We are looking for a full-time Fine Wine Account Manager for our Freemans Bay Office

Who are we looking for?

First and foremost you are sales driven – you love to hunt for new prospects and convert them to customers. You have a keen understanding for the sales process from Lead acquisition to lead conversion

You are both passionate and knowledgeable about wine – Old and New World, winemaking and viticulture.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • you will hunt for and grow all manner of client accounts within your territory

  • Sales order management – inputting and tracking orders

  • Creating your own marketing events , including client tastings, dinners, Masterclasses

  • A candidate equally comfortable seeking out opportunities with restaurant & bar beverage directors as with retail managers and supermarket buyers.

  • Primarily targeting the growing on premise scene within the outer Auckland suburbs, hence good self-organisation and forward planning skills are key to cover the needs of customers over this broad territory.

REPORT

  • Reports to Territory sales manager

TERRITORY

  • Predominantly Auckland

SKILLS

  • A Hard worker who is a highly motivated and honest individual with their finger on the pulse and good team player

  • A strong knowledge of Sales Techniques

  • Strong knowledge of and passion for Wine

  • Strong interpersonal skills utilising all communication tools including Face to Face, Phone, Email, Social Med

REMUNERATION

You will earn your way into this job - starting basic and then with On target Earnings 70k-100k+ after a few years if you are sales driven and hungry. If you already have a bunch of accounts in the bag - this can be fast tracked.
