A leader in culinary and excellence in hospitality, Vomo Island Resort is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our service team to create lifelong memories for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering uncompromised service working closely with our kitchen and executive management teams.
The Role
- Be creative and inspirational about service and memorable experiences for our guests
- Lead your team through engagement, motivation and inspiration, creating a positive workplace culture
- A adequate salary including on island accommodation, meal allowances, free boat transfers into the mainland and visa application and return flights to Fiji.
- Manage all areas of the Food & Beverage department including Restaurants, Bars, Room Service, Special Events and Poolside
- Administrational tasks such as rostering, end of month reports, budget process, driving revenue, stocktake, ordering, tracking wage and cost of goods throughout the month
The right candidate should have
- Experience working in a luxury property in a senior management role for over 2 years
- Above 8 years working in the Food & Beverage department
- A strong communicator and exceptional organisational skills
- A proven leader and developer of teams
- Ability to work day, night and weekends having a flexible working roster to meet business demands
- You must be fully vaccinated with a minimum of two vaccinations and a booster required in the near future
