An exciting opportunity has opened to work for Vintners New Zealand, one of New Zealand’s leading, privately owner, wine distributors. As well as representing some of New Zealand’s most iconic wine brands, Vintners is also described as having one the country’s most interesting international wine portfolios. Wine serious, but not wine snobs we represent over forty brands from around the world and are looking for a person to manage our product logistics and the timely flow of product information.
The Role
This is for someone who has an eye for detail and wants to dive in to managing our procurement and product information databases, including our website. Vintners supplies wines to restaurants, retailers and supermarkets and sources from established wineries in NZ, Australia, France, Italy, Spain and Argentina.
You will be part of a dynamic team, interacting with a variety of entities including winery suppliers, logistics companies, compliance entities, IT support people and our customer community.
You Will Have
- Strong numeracy including Excel to pivot table level and beyond.
- Great communication skills, written and oral, and a commitment to building strong business partnerships.
- Experience in working with business operating and reporting systems.
- A background in either logistics, importing, inventory management, procurement or administration would be very helpful.
- Accuracy, with an eye for detail while still being able to prioritise tasks ensuring divergent processes are moving forward in a timely fashion.
- An interest in wine wouldn't hurt!
