The business is in an exciting phase; we now have an opening in the team and are looking for the right engineer to come join us.
If you are an engineer with 5+ years' experience in a mechanical / hardware design role, then we want to hear from you.
You will be working with our existing system, on new product development projects as well as managing the technical resources and people to get the job done to a high standard of quality our customers need.
If you are highly motivated, able to solve complex problems and are a self-starter, then we'd love to hear from you.
Our office is located in Parnell and full or part-time hours are available for the right candidate. The hours are flexible, and working from home is an option where appropriate.

General engineering functions
- Develop practical solutions to hardware issues.
- Oversee production life-cycle and outsourcing build components for existing unit.
- Provide support and advice to other team members as required for their build plans, investigations and improvements.
- Prioritize, plan, and execute work in a timely fashion based on business requirements.
Production Management activities
- Support production assembly by inserting controls and improvements to production processes and the products to reduce errors, improve efficiency, decrease risk, or reduce cost.
- Liaise with sales teams to keep track of order numbers and requirements, and plan production.
- Organize work-space to improve process efficiency.
- Update existing documentation or author new documentation to record and communicate technical investigations, work instructions, or other records.
Build and Test
- Carefully build and test regulators, valves, other electronic and O2 equipment.
- Perform verification and validation testing of equipment during assembly and in refurbishment
- Understand parameter data from the units and analyse performance and troubleshoot failure modes.
- Design and execute practical experiments for failure modes
- An understanding of the role of quality and how process governs the performance and reliability of units.
Supplier Quality and Management
- Perform relevant procurement and stock management activities
- Communicate effectively with suppliers product requirements and corrective actions.
- Be able to research and source new components and suppliers that meet business needs and product specifications.
