ABOUT THE ROLE

• Reporting to and working closely with the National sales Manager, you will be challenged with providing leadership and guidance to the Northern region sales team of direct reports [5] as well as support for multi-channel reps within the provinces [3]
• Working directly with and managing key relationships with owners and operators of some of Auckland's and the Regions iconic and leading Hospitality venues.
• You will be responsible for customer development of both well-established existing accounts as well as identification and pursuit of new customers.
• Based in our Auckland office - the territory of the Northern Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for is Taupo region and everywhere north of Taupo. On Premise – Hospitality only.
• You will be required to travel out of town [overnight] monthly and support the sales team within your designated territory

Job tasks and responsibilities

You'll come from a highly successful sales background within the hospitality industry and have excellent time management and reporting skills.  You'll have an ability to lead a sales team and develop account plans to optimise and grow sales for both existing and prospective customers. Implementing targeted promotional activity and maximising brand resources is an important part of this role. • Significant industry / On premise [specific] experience
• People management – a proven record that you can mentor, develop, manage and lead a team
• Strategic thinker and planner with the ability to convert the plan into measurable results
• Customer focused and relationship building - strong ability to develop and sustain effective business relationships
• You will need to be well organized and be able to work at a fast pace, extremely good with people and have the ability to influence quickly.
