About the Role
We are currently offering a rare opportunity for a motivated individual to join our very successful and rapidly-growing company in a new (mainly) Auckland based role. As a nomadic brewer, our production is currently based at a couple of brewery sites around the North Island.
We are seeking a Production Manager whose role it will be to ensure that we (and our contract suppliers) work in a cohesive, structured, and efficient manner from ordering of ingredients and packaging, through to delivery of our beers to our great customers, and everything in-between.
Skills & Experience
Strong management skills are essential, we have a diverse supply, production and sales base and it is a necessity that these are managed in a timely and stress-free manner.
Knowledge of inventory management systems is a must and, ideally, you will be proficient in using Unleashed software.
Experience in building, implementing and continual improvement of systems and processes.
3 years plus in a Senior Production based role, ideally in the food and beverage industry.
Key requirements of the role include:
- All facets of Stock Management including ordering, forecasting, stocktake, invoice reconciliation & keg returns
- Production Scheduling
- Supplier Management – contract operators, ingredients, packaging & logistics
- Building & Assembling Products in stock management systems
- Involvement in Cost Reduction & New Product Development projects
- Management of all General Freight, Dispatch & Logistics including samples, couriers & export paperwork
- System & Process Development along with Compliance – food safety, GS1, OSH, labelling, dry goods & quality attributes
