EuroVintage is proud of its reputation as a successful independently-owned distributor of premium wines, spirits and beer from New Zealand and around the globe.
The efficient management of EuroVintage's supply chain and inventory is critical to the success of our business. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Purchasing Co-ordinator is responsible for liaising with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure our inventory levels meet par level guidelines.
You will prepare shipping forecasts; liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, customs agents and all other relevant parties to ensure Eurovintage is benefiting from the most cost-effective, efficient and timely delivery of ordered goods. You will be responsible for managing efficient, accessible and accurate information relevant to purchasing to all stakeholders both inside and outside our business.
To succeed in this rewarding role you will:
- have proven experience in a purchasing and logistics role
- have keen attention to detail
- have a strong team approach combined with the ability to self-manage and use initiative
- have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- have excellent computer literacy.
- while not essential, experience in SAP will significantly strengthen your application
