CoLab Wine Merchants is a dynamic, national, wine distribution business representing a balanced portfolio of well known, highly respected, domestic and international wine brands.
Founded by leading New Zealand wine brands Alpha Domus (Bridge Pa, Hawkes Bay) and Terra Sancta (Bannockburn, Central Otago); we have a number of exciting opportunities for results focussed, sales people to join a business where they can make a mark.
We are looking for 5 outstanding, motivated, sales people. The locations of the roles are:

The positions would suit self starters looking for a new role, or add a part-time sales role to their current work position. Remuneration is a competitive commission-based structure and linked to direct sales.
We place a strong emphasis on the value of our team and the successful applicants will be highly supported in their roles and receive comprehensive on-going product and operational training, allowing for the focus to be on delivery of, sound, customer focussed sales solutions. All roles except for the Auckland role are responsible for sales into all wine trade channels; Off Premise (Independent and Chains), On Premise (Restaurants and Cafes) and Supermarkets (New World and Pak n Save).
The Auckland role will have responsibility for 12 identified New World and Pak and Save stores only.
Each successful candidate will be required to enhance their existing customer base and relationships, grow revenue and target potential customers to acquire new business. Well-developed organisational and planning skills will ensure your success in managing and growing your accounts. A proven successful sales background in the Wine Trade / FMCG environment would be a distinct advantage.
Remuneration will be revenue based and will be a fixed % of sales made in your designated territory to your customers.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

A customer driven focus to bring positive energy and strong sales activity to the company and team

An ability to work with and execute the well articulated company and brand plans

Wine knowledge and wine trade contacts would be an advantage

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask and balance the needs of the company, the brands and customers

Experience using CRM and other digital systems

Outstanding customer service and support skills

Reliable car and current New Zealand driver's license required
