The venue encompasses 110sqm ground level floor space in Central Parnell and there is an additional outdoor area of 22sqm. The venue easily accommodates 2530 people for a sitdown meal and around 80100 for standup cocktail style function. There is a main bar area separate food prep area main lounge/dining area and separate club room or board room suitable for private meetings of up to 10 people. The facility operates primarily as a private hire function and events venue but also has potential to open to the general public at specific times of the week. The business is up and running with all necessary permits and licenses in place and can operate up to 7 days a week if required.Various contract staff are used to run events but the new operator will have total freedom to recruit and manage staff on whatever basis is determined appropriate. With an incomparable location a captive local market and an existing growing membership base from the current owners affiliated wine business activities this business is ready for an energetic operator to unleash its full potential. The ideal person will have hospitality operational and management experience with a strong interest in wine and food and will need a Managers Certificate for licensed premises. Would suit someone who has run a cocktail/wine bar and who is looking to get into their own business or a person already involved in the catering and/or venue hire business. Must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and able to develop a positive and engaging online profile for the business and and.
