Built in 1897 and masterfully restored through passionate attention to detail, this 4.5 star property is situated at one of Rotorua's finest addresses, in the heart of the city and on the doorstep of the picturesque Government Gardens and Rotorua Museum. At the Prince's Gate Hotel, it is our duty to offer the highest quality of service, attention to detail and customer satisfaction that is second to none.

We are searching for an experienced all-round Food & Beverage Professional. Our aim is to provide quality, efficient and warm service to our guests whilst maintaining high standards, our waiters' goal is to make all our customers feel like VIPs, providing a unique and personable dining experience.

To ease into this role, you will:

  • Preferably have 1-2 years of a la carte dining experience
  • Have a friendly and outgoing character
  • Be genuinely passionate about customer service
  • Have a passion for high quality food and wine
  • Have strong English communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • Be able to engage with customers from all walks of life
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Available on weekends and public holidays
