The Leveret Estate Winery Kati Kati is part of  The Wine Portfolio Group, a privately owned, fully integrated wine company with well known brands such as Leveret Estate, Falconhead, Mill Road and IQ sparkling range.  

The grapes are grown at our vineyards in the Hawkes Bay and Marlborough and bottled and packaged for both export and domestic markets at our winery in Katikati.

Our rapidly growing business is now looking for a new Warehouse Team Leader to lead our small warehouse team in Katikati. This position would ideally suit someone with a senior storeman or similar warehouse leadership position or someone possibly looking to taking the next step.

The essential requirements for the role are:

  • Proven experience in a team leader/senior storeperson position.
  • Experienced forkhoist driver with valid license/F Endorsement.
  • Computer experience with either Accpac, SAP or similar MRP platform.
  • Can work autonomously and self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail is vital to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Similar FMCG experience.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Organised and aware of the daily/weekly requirement’s.
  • Awareness and previous training of MPI preferred, as we are a Transitional Facility. However, training would be given to the right candidate.

About the role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for up to four direct reports and the general running of the warehouse. You will be working around 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri. The warehouse opens at 07:00 and generally closes at 5:00 so flexibility of you and your staff members is key.

You will manage your team with good and effective leadership, whilst constantly supplying the production bottling line with essential materials. Monthly stock takes will be conducted in a timely fashion with report deadlines met.
