The Wine Portfolio is a privately owned, fully integrated wine company with wineries in Kati Kati and Hawkes Bay. This position is based at our Kati Kati site.
Our rapidly growing business is now looking for new Warehouse Assistants to join our small warehouse team in Katikati. This position would ideally suit someone with previous storeman or similar warehouse experience.
The essential requirements for the role are:
- Proven experience as a storeman/warehouse assistant.
- Experienced forkhoist driver with valid license/F Endorsement.
- Computer experience preferred with either Accpac, SAP or similar MRP platform.
- Can work autonomously and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail is vital to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Similar FMCG experience.
- Problem solving skills.
- Awareness and previous training of MPI preferred, as we are a Transitional Facility. However, training will be given to the right candidate.
About the role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will make up orders with attention to detail whilst achieving 100% accuracy whilst continuing to supply the production bottling line with materials on time. Data inputting on completion or orders and have a general awareness of the inventory supply chain process from orders received to shipping orders into our MRP system.
Your hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri. The warehouse opens at 07:00 and generally closes at 5:00 so flexibility is key.
You will work as part of a small team to ensure our expanding business remains business as usual and be involved with monthly stock takes and reporting of inventory.
