The Role

Based in Blenheim, we seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Marketing, Events and Sales team as a Sales, Marketing & Events Assistant. This is a busy, 'hands-on' position, reporting to the marketing manager, you'll provide support for:

1. Marketing and sales initiatives 
2. Events, tastings, and tours coordination/hosting
3. Drive local sales
4. Wine dispatching/delivering
5. Wine show/tasting submissions
6. Business and events tenders
7. Wine press submissions
8. General administration

Key skills and attributes required

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills with a professional customer service focus
2. Event coordination experience.
3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills 
4. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to be adaptable, dependable and handle multiple priorities simultaneously with A positive attitude and can-do approach to working in a small team.
5. Good computer skills, including experience with MS Office suite.  
6. Flexibility is required -as some weekend work and travel may be necessary. 
7. Strong work ethic and commitment to completing the task in accordance with the work processes and standards in place.
8. Experience with sales, marketing, and client relations in the wine industry would be beneficial but not required. 
9. A Duty Manager's license would be beneficial but not required.
