Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a Viticulturalist to lead the vineyard team at Spy Valley Wines, provide overall management of our vineyards and expert analysis and technical advice to the Head of Viticulture and Winemaking and Senior Winemaker.

This is a new position within the wider winery and vineyard team, and it will report to our Head of Viticulture and Winemaking. The viticulturalist will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of vineyard operations, resources, staff, growers and Viticultural practices and compliance. 

What we are looking for: 

  • A degree in viticulture and/or wine science.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a viticulturalist, preferably with experience in Marlborough.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 2+ year’s management experience.
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
