Based in Marlborough, Berakah Vineyard Management (BVM) is a market leader in all aspects of vineyard operations from vineyard establishment through to cost-leading vineyard management and wine company relationship management.

The role:
Reporting to the Owners of BVM, this newly created role will support the Consultant Vineyard Managers in the general operations and running of the client’s vineyards. This role will be integral in further enhancing BVM’s high client service delivery. Tasks include assisting with contract labour and management, collecting yield data, performing young husbandry vine tasks, quality control and machinery operations set up, trellis maintenance and assisting with planning schedules.
 
The role will be busy and varied, where no two days will be the same.
 
A company vehicle will be included in the excellent remuneration package.
 
The ideal candidate:
 
You will ideally have at least 3-5+ years of general vineyard operations in any field and machinery knowledge and/or experience. A sound understanding of phone aps would be beneficial, alongside a good level of fitness.
You will be honest, reliable and have proven self-management skills. Negotiation and communication skills are your strength. Most importantly you will have a strong work ethic and be ready to get stuck in and be part of a great team. Flexibility in work hours will be required.
 
You will have the ability to work permanently in NZ and have a full clean driver’s license.
