Reporting to the Logistics Manager, we’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator to maintain the high quality of service and product delivery to Cloudy Bay customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share both your wine knowledge and your passion for logistics and transportation. Thanks to your excellent analytical skills and your ability to manage time and prioritize, you will coordinate and administer export and domestic shipments.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of the wine export certification process
- Liaising with customers regarding forecast of shipments & stock requirements
- Booking export shipments, preparing export documentation for sending to freight forwarder and customer
- Maintaining relationships with local customers
- Authorizing transfer of stock to Cloudy Bay’s Cellar Doors (in Blenheim and Central Otago)
- Controlling wine stock every month and following up any stock discrepancies
- Forecasting and managing the ordering of dry goods and ensuring invoices are authorized for payment in a timely manner
- Supporting the accounting team to satisfy audit requests in providing complete reports and documentation applicable to each market responsible for
- Maintaining the Cloudy Bay Label Library
- Preparing special documentation required for product registration as requested by overseas markets in collaboration with the winemaking team
In order to succeed in this position, you will have:
- Experience in a Logistics or Transportation role (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate professionally to both internal and external customers
- Ability to analyze data & information
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and be an enthusiastic team member
- Adaptive & flexible work approach
- Good working knowledge of Excel & Word to intermediate level
- Relevant rights to work in New-Zealand
