Due to this expansion the JWVM now works with a broad range of viticulturist clients. Due to growth, they are now seeking a Senior Vineyard Operator to support them in achieving their goals.
 
The job:
Reporting to the Owner the successful candidate will operate all the vineyard machinery to a very high standard to ensure JWVM meets and exceeds customers expectations. Other tasks include conducting light machinery repairs and performing quality control processes. General vineyard operating duties are also required in this role, as the whole team is actively engaged in a hands-on fashion.
 
Due to continued growth, they now require an additional resource and would love you to join their close-knit team that is focused on delivering high quality outcomes.
 
The ideal candidate:
Joining a fantastic team, you will be energetic and practical. You will be very comfortable with vineyard machinery and be able to trouble shoot. You will be conscious and knowledgeable about machinery maintenance. Hands on vineyard experience and machinery operations of at least 5 years is essential.
 
You will be comfortable working in an unsupervised role and be flexible with working hours during the busy growing season.
 
Additionally, you will be a natural communicator, honest and reliable.
 
You must be eligible to work full time in NZ and have a full clean driver’s license.
