We are seeking a proactive, organised, and personable Administration Coordinator to support the continued growth and direction of our business. Based at our vineyard in Waipara, this is a diverse and rewarding role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing things well.
You'll support multiple parts of the business — including direct sales, logistics, admin, cellar door operations, and marketing — while working alongside a passionate, close-knit team.
Hours: 24–40 hours per week (negotiable).

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Administration

Manage and grow local direct-to-customer sales, including logistics, invoicing, and client relationships.

Coordinate stock movements (inward/outward), inventory, and cellar stock records.

Liaise with our off-site wine facility to coordinate dry goods, bottlings, and compliance (excise tracking etc.).

Use Vinsight, Xero, and Shopify for stock control, invoicing, debtor follow-up, e-newsletters, and our online store.
General Administration & Marketing

Assist with marketing content and coordinate social media and email campaigns.

Support small events and help organise logistics for wine shows and bottling runs.

Provide hands-on support to our vineyard and winemaking teams during busy periods (e.g. pruning or harvest).
Cellar Door & Customer Engagement

Support the Tasting Room Manager with guest hosting, wine tastings, food service, and cellar door sales when required.

Help create a warm, welcoming environment that reflects our values and wines.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:

Has great attention to detail and can juggle tasks with calm efficiency

Communicates clearly and enjoys working in a collaborative team

Is curious about wine, nature, and sustainability

Is comfortable with tech tools (or keen to learn) — Vinsight/Xero/Shopify
-
Has a full NZ driver licence and is legally entitled to work in NZ
-
Is happy to pitch in wherever needed and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves!
Bonus if you have:

Experience in customer service, admin, events, or logistics

Wine industry knowledge (but not essential — we’ll teach you)
