About the role

The Digital Marketer role is responsible for driving awareness across Giesen Group's core product portfolio by converting traditional, physical brand management and marketing to digital consumer and customer experiences. 

Key Areas of Responsibility.

Digital Marketing: 

• Convert global brand strategies, to develop and execute in all digital marketing for core brands, including social media, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, display/search advertising.
• Focus markets: New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and USA
• Measure & evaluate using web analytic tools.
• Identify and evaluate new digital technologies.

Content Development:

• Responsible for researching, writing, gathering, organising, and editing content to be used across all digital platforms by utilising all departments within Giesen Group.

Social Media:

• Develop, execute and evolve Giesen Group social media presence for core brands (Giesen, Ara & Kaiser Brothers Brewery).
• Drive growth and awareness through social media channels.
• Measure & evaluate using analytic tools.
• Identify trends and insights, optimise spend and performance based on the insights.
• Responsible for adoption of social media technologies across the entire business.

Brand Management:

• Brand Manager of Kaiser Brothers Brewery craft beer brand.
• Develop and implement brand strategies (strategy development in conjunction with Marketing Manager).
• Set brand standards.

Skills and experience

• A tertiary qualification such as Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Commerce or similar.
• At least five years or more previous experience in digital marketing, including management of social media campaigns, using analytical tools and reporting.
• At least five years previous experience in a Brand Management role.
• English Language Writing and communication skills – to effectively communicate Giesen's brand message. Must be highly proficient with the english language.
• Brand Leadership - Motivates and empowers others to achieve individual and organisational goals through collaboration. 
• Data analysis – to extract value from analytic/reporting tools.
• An understanding of the wine industry and/or an interest in wine is desirable.
