McArthur Ridge Vineyard is located on Springvale Road, Alexandra, Central Otago.
Established in 2002, we are a large commercial vineyard focusing on Pinot Noir.
The successful applicant should hold appropriate tertiary qualifications and have a proven history of working with Pinot Noir. Knowledge and expertise with Sustainable Wine Growing practices would be an advantage but not essential.
The successful applicant must also have:
- excellent communication skills
- a comprehensive understanding of word and excel
- strong leadership skills
- the ability to operate a variety of vineyard machinery
- the ability to work in a large team environment
- previous experience Frost fighting
and be:
- willing to continue learning
- Health and Safety focused
- able to find solutions to problems
- able to work to set timelines
- be practical, and approachable to all staff
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, Central Otago operation, focusing on quality Pinot Noir wine for the local and export markets.
