With a culture based on delivering customer service excellence, we are looking for a dynamic, reliable team player to join our Winery in Cromwell as a Cellar Hand.
We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to join our small, quality-focused winery team.
VinPro provides custom winemaking, bottling, temperature-controlled warehousing and dispatch services to our local wine growing community. Our Cromwell-based winery located in the heart of the world renowned Central Otago region focuses on quality wine production for clients across all of Central Otago sub-regions.
We have a modern well-resourced winery with capacity for 800 tonnes. We have been crafting quality cool climate wines since 2005 - we produce Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Chardonnay, Gruner Veltliner, St Laurent and Gewürztraminer.
The Cellar Hand role will be hands-on, suiting a skilled person with a good base of quality cellar skills and knowledge, with aspirations to develop their winemaking career. Wine laboratory experience would also be beneficial, but not essential. The successful applicant will be hard-working, quality-focused and work well as part of a team or on their own.
While reporting to the Winery Manager, the role requires carrying out a full suite of cellar work.
