Te Kano Estate is one of Central Otago’s newest and most exciting wine ventures. With a focus on quality and delivering a luxury brand experience, we are seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to join us on the next stage of our journey and play a significant role in our future growth.
Achieving sales growth and realising the company’s brand aspirations through the development and implementation of short and longer term strategies, the Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for all aspects of sales performance and the marketing mix – from the cellar door experience to management of local and international distributor relationships.
This broad and wide-ranging role is based in Central Otago, and encompasses a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, from staff training and management, through to the crafting of high-level marketing plans.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a senior sales and marketing role.
- Strong industry networks and connections across a range of market sectors.
- Excellent understanding of the marketing mix and brand management principles.
- Ability to craft and implement complex sales and marketing plans.
- Staff management experience.
- Excellent wine knowledge.
- Experience with creating and managing high-end events, brand launches, and marketing projects.
- Financial literacy and experience in board level reporting.
- Strong skills with relevant software (excel, adobe, etc).
This is a complex and diverse role, offering significant challenges to the successful candidate. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to reflect the importance of the position.
