About the business and the role
At Prophet's Rock, we make 100% estate grown, premium New Zealand wines using time-honoured methods to create a product that is a true reflection of the place where we live and work.
This is your opportunity to join a small, committed team of individuals who are passionate about what they do and the region they work in.
This role requires strong practical ability and a willingness to assist with any task within the vineyard.
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in vineyard or orchard work would be preferred but not essential.
- An affinity for working outdoors across the seasons.
- Experience in supervising would be an advantage but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Available for early starts and possible weekend work when required. Due to the demands of our seasonal operation, you will be flexible with working hours to get the job done.
- Transport can be supplied from Cromwell, but own transport will be required at times to work at either our Bendigo or Pisa vineyards.
- Ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team.
- Be a New Zealand resident or be legally entitled to work in New Zealand on a permanent basis, this role is not suitable for working holiday or sponsorship visas.
