Are you looking for a hands-on, immersive experience at one of Central Otago’s pioneering, family-owned wineries? Chard Farm is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team from October until May.  This is a rare opportunity to experience all aspects of a New Zealand winery – from hosting wine tastings at our Cellar Door to working alongside our vineyard and winery teams during harvest.

About the Role:

This is a seasonal position that offers a complete winery experience. You'll be involved in:

• Hosting wine tastings and engaging with visitors at our Cellar Door.
• Assisting with wine dispatch and online order fulfilment.
• Supporting hands-on vineyard work and winery operations during the harvest period.

Key Responsibilities:

Cellar Door:

• Provide exceptional customer service and a memorable wine tasting experience.
• Convert positive guest experiences into wine sales.
• Assist with wine order dispatch.
• Weekend availability is required.

Vineyard & Winery:

• Participate in various vineyard and winery tasks, including:
  • Grape receival and processing
  • Fermentation management
  • Wine clarification and cooperage
  • General vineyard maintenance and seasonal work
