Due to continued growth of our Kono brands we are on the hunt for a South Island Territory Manager.
With award winning Tohu wines, Aronui wines, Kono wines and Tutu cider, you will partner with us to grow our already established presence in our domestic market.
Kono is a top 100, Maori, family-owned premium New Zealand food and beverage company with a unique intergenerational 500-year business plan. Our interests span wine, horticulture, fruit bars and seafood and we export to over 25 countries throughout the world. Our products encapsulate the pure taste of Aotearoa and are produced sustainably, akin to the values of our owners. Our business is diverse, from farming and harvesting, to processing and the marketing of seafood, wine, cider, apples, pears, kiwifruit, hops and natural fruit bars.
The role is multi-channel, with the focus on existing grocery accounts and developing the Traditional Liquor and On-Premise markets.
Based in Christchurch, you will build relationships and grow our market share. With a commercially sharp mind and passion for the wine industry, you will have a solid understanding of FMCG Territory Management. Ideally, you will have established networks and a proven track record. Working autonomously but part of a larger team, you will have a head for numbers, and experience managing trade spend.
If you have:
- Experience in the wine industry
- A proven track record within the multi channels
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
- Strong negotiation and sound decision-making skills
- Current drivers licence
