Description
Are you a high potential Account Manager seeking to develop your career on a major grocery account? Do you have a commercial mindset and the ability to manage budgets and drive significant return on investment? An exciting opportunity exists to join our sales team, reporting to the National Sales Manager, based in our Christchurch office, this role is responsible for managing the Foodstuffs South Island Account.

You will ensure all financial, volume and business relationship targets are met while maintaining company and brand integrity at all times. Interfacing with the marketing and sales teams will be vital to ensuring activities and strategies employed in the accounts are in line with current market trends and customer needs.
Key accountabilities include:
- Implementing appropriate activity to meet the needs of the customer group and to meet the strategic objectives of the brands.
- Presenting new products, vintages and promotions to our customers as and when they arise.
- Developing promotional calendars for the national account customers
- Actively seeking out new business opportunities
- People management
- Reporting
The successful candidate will demonstrate previous national account sales experience and will possess excellent communication, time management and analytical skills. You will have the ability to build and drive relationships!
