Kitchen Assistant (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

The Cloudy Bay Shed is located just 5 minutes from Cromwell, and we are seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support our team and help the food service run smoothly in conjunction with our busy front of house staff. This is a fixed-term position until June 2023 and will be 25-30 hours per week with weekend work being essential.

You will be responsible for:

• Prepping food for each day
• Preparing platters
• Ordering and receiving orders
• Ensuring all dishes are processed efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
• Working closely with the team on all levels
• Being aware of health and safety
• Being aware of food hygiene practices
• Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
