Wine Solutions provide essential bottling, warehousing and logistics services to the Central Otago wine industry. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with exceptional service. We are looking for an Assistant Bottling Manager to join our small team based in Cromwell. Working alongside the Winemaker and Bottling Manager, this pivotal role is key to ensuring an efficient production schedule and a quality result for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to learn all facets of the wine bottling process, including:
Filler and labeller operation and maintenance
All aspects of Quality Control, including wine analysis
Schedule planning and logistics
Dry goods and finished stock management
There is potential for this role to be tailored to your specific skills and interests.
About you:
For this role you will have the following skills:
Good level of fitness, able to lift 15kg regularly
Proactive and adaptable, with great attention to detail
Enjoy a challenge and work well under pressure
Willingness to work extended hours during the two peak bottling seasons
High level of communicationAble to work well within a team, as well as independently
Forklift licence and experience in operating machinery, as well as any wine industry experience would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.
