Bar Supervisor (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Nestled on the Devonport Peninsula, The Waitemata Bar is looking for the next bubbly personality to bring our clubhouse bar to life. The ideal candidate is a people’s person, with a natural smile. 

Be in charge of creating a bespoke environment for their customers and ensuring the quality of the food and drink they serve is always to a high standard. Be approachable, warm, professional and hard working.

The candidate will treat the bar like their own and possess great maturity and ownership. You will help to lead a small team and will be required for a mixture of solo and team shifts for our 7 day per week business. 

Host procedures and bar work can be taught but being able to be happy with people from all walks of life, is key! Bar Managers License is preferred but not essential. The club will be happy to invest in training for the right person.
