Are you a talented and passionate bartender looking for an exciting new challenge?
Catalyst, the conscious and modern restaurant in Dunedin's CBD, is expanding our offering with a new dinner service, and we're looking for an experienced individual to join our team and help us take our vision to the next level.
About the role!
As our new Head Bartender, you'll have the opportunity to develop a new cocktail menu, experiment with new ingredients and techniques, and bring your own creative flair to the bar. We're looking for someone who loves crafting delicious cocktails, thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards, and has excellent customer service skills.
As part of our commitment to being a conscious restaurant, we will be featuring a selection of local organic and natural wines from regional vineyards as well as locally produced spirits and mixers.

If you practice the same values, have a passion for crafting cocktails, want 3 weeks off over the summer, and want to be part of something fun and new, we want to hear from you.
We require you to have experience as a bartender, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. You should be familiar with classic cocktails, have a passion for mixology, and be comfortable experimenting with new ingredients and techniques. Basic barista skills, a current duty manager, and an LCQ certificate would be advantageous. However, for the right candidate, we are willing to help facilitate these qualifications.
We would also be keen to talk to experienced baristas looking for a change or anyone with Front of House / Bar experience looking for a new challenge.
