We are a winegrower and wine producer based in Gisborne, North Island of New Zealand. We are passionate about sustainability, organics, making the best product we can and looking after our team. This year we were awarded with Sustainable Vineyard of the Year from NZ Organic Wine Awards.
We are a small family boutique wine company, which has been operating for over 23 years in Gisborne, with our Great Grandfather winegrowing in NZ since 1931. We manage 3 vineyards in two appellations, with a total of 18 hectares. We operate our own winery have a cellar door and cafe on site. We distribute our organic wines around NZ and are looking to expand our export market.
The position is quite diverse, we are looking for experience and passion in the following roles:
As you can see the position will cover many facets of our business. We will be offering training and support to the new employee. We would not expect the person to be able to work in all the above roles immediately. We would offer continued support in the roles as you move into a new one. We would like the employee to initially focus on Cellar Door & Event Management, then supporting the Sales & Marketing team.
The position would offer support into export markets. At present we are actively looking into the Quebec market. French speaking or understanding of the French culture, would be beneficial to your application.
The employee would expect to work 40 hours a week, the days of employment would generally be Monday – Saturday. The remuneration would be $60k plus, based on qualifications and experience.
We would offer 4 weeks holiday, plus statutory holidays and sick days.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Degree in one of the above roles

3 Years work experience in at least 3 of the above roles

Passion and interest in the NZ wine industry

Interest in Sustainability

Must have own vehicle, drivers licence

Understanding of French culture & language
