With recent growth we are currently recruiting for an additional Supervisor. Working in Thompsons expert Grapes team you will have a leadership role in a position that offers variety and learning. Looking after seasonal crews you will be able to put your outdoor work and people skills into play.

Thompson’s Horticulture Ltd (THL) is a family-owned and operated business, involved in the management of approx. 180 hectares each of Kiwifruit and Grapes, spread between Opotiki and Gisborne with 60 permanent staff and upwards of 150 seasonal staff. We offer employment opportunities in Machinery Operations, Kiwifruit Operations, Grapes and Orchard Development areas.

The Supervisor will be involved in monitoring and executing viticulture activities too. You will have good technical knowledge in viticulture or related industry and come with strong experience leading teams. It is a hands-on role, where you will be role model, train and support a fun and diverse team. You will be physically fit, calm under pressure, a good problem solver and be a confident communicator - talking and listening.
