Great Little Vineyards is a specialised Auckland-based retailer of artisanal, small production and rare wines. Located in the heart of the bustling Orakei Bay Village business hub, we require a retail superstar to assist with our seven-day-a-week operation.
To be considered for this role, you must have strong knowledge of New Zealand and overseas fine wines, sales experience, flexibility, initiative, honesty, and be highly self-motivated. Current duty manager's certificate is strongly preferred.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
• Existing experience within the NZ or overseas wine industry
• Knowledge and passion for fine wines
• Ability to make thoughtful recommendations to our customers
• Availability to work weekends
• Ability to help out with 'back of house' office, admin, marketing and warehousing tasks during slower periods
• Good housekeeping skills
• Strong self-presentation
• Be a self-starter with willingness to 'muck in' and help out in all areas of our small company
• Be a positive-thinking, high energy team player
• Maintain very high levels of customer service and attention to detail
This position has growth potential dependent on performance. Hourly rate will be offered based on experience.
