Wineworks is the leading contract wine bottling operation in New Zealand and an Essential business. At our Hastings Branch, our night shift bottling line team  are seeking a mechanically minded person who is keen to learn the operation of our Labelling Machines and other associated packaging equipment. This position is responsible for the setting up, changeover and running of the equipment, conducting routine inspections of the labelled product, and ensuring the effective operation ensuring optimum performance is met producing a safe high-quality product. 

While previous experience operating packing line machinery is an advantage, your attitude and work ethic are most important to us! We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a positive attitude, is reliable and can turn up to work each day. A sense of humour is also a must! 

This is a full time and permanent night shift role. Our team work 12-hour shifts, Monday – Thursday with the occasional Friday required from time to time. Start time 4.15 pm. This is a great opportunity for someone keen to commence a career at WineWorks. Full training will be provided.

· Have an ability and passion to learn new things and a desire to progress with the company.

· Flexible and adaptable to change

· Able to take direction and communicate effectively with others.

· Have an eye for detail and great troubleshooting skills. 

· Be able to handle a bit of pressure to get the job done. 

· Have a level of mechanical aptitude. 

· Have basic computer literacy.

· Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
