We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our Dry Goods and Warehouse team. This role reports to the Dry Goods Team Leader. Hours of work will be 0900-1800 Some flexibility in hours of work may be required at times. Being reliable, embracing the Lean manufacturing concept while showing safety to customers’ product and the environment is paramount to this role

Due to the nature of this important role, full training will be given.

Applications for this role must have the following experience:

• Thorough understanding of Health and Safety in the Workplace
• Warehouse/Distribution experience
• Forklift licence with F endorsement
• Experienced forklift driver with good safety practises
• High degree of physical fitness – including the ability to lift to 16kg
• Good numeracy & literacy skills with good basic computer skills
• Commitment to excellence and quality
• Planning and organising skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Able to follow instruction both verbally and written language
• Flexible and cope with change
• Be customer focused.

Desirable experience

• Reach truck operations
• Worked in a food environment (preferred but not essential)
• WMS experience- we operate off a Manhattan platform
