Craggy Range is a leading, family-owned New Zealand winery, established in 1999 and based in the beautiful region of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. We have a clear aspiration to sit alongside the great wineries of the world, and due to being supported by a 1000 year family trust, we have the time to achieve it. 

We are advertising an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and talented Group Technical Officer to join the team to provide technical support across our vineyards in Hawke’s Bay and Martinborough.

Based at our Gimblett Gravels Vineyard and reporting directly to the National Vineyards Manager, the successful applicant should possess a tertiary qualification in viticulture along with previous experience in managing the administration, reporting and compliance requirements that support each vineyard. Prior experience in the general operations of a vineyard is a must, so that assistance can be provided during peak times.

Attributes required for success with this position include: 

  • Strong discipline in planning and organisational skills
  • High level of presentation and communication
  • IT literate with ability to learn new software
  • Experience with general vineyard machinery

This dynamic role will suit an individual who enjoys getting involved in, and learning about, the multiple facets of each vineyard and has a high degree of self-motivation. Travel to our Martinborough vineyard will also be a requirement for this role.
