Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers Association is a member-based organisation representing the region’s wine industry (vineyards and wineries). Our purpose is to speak for and act on behalf of the whole Hawke’s Bay wine community to:

• protect and advance the collective interests of the Hawke’s Bay wine industry;
• grow the reputation of Hawke’s Bay as New Zealand’s premier wine region and one of the world’s great wine regions; and
• support the Hawke’s Bay wine community to be the best it can be, together.

We’re looking for a Member Services and Office Manager who can make sure we are a high-performing and professional regional industry organisation with all the right financial, governance and infrastructure support; and manage the comprehensive range of services we provide to our members.

You need to be fabulous at:

• General administration and infrastructure management
• Financial management, from accounts processing to financial reporting and annual budgeting
• Working with and for a Board
• Communicating and networking for impact and value with internal and external audiences

You need to have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a maturity to be decisive and resourceful.

• Broad administrative and office management expertise, where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount and, preferably, because you’ve been accountable to a board representing a membership.

• Experience in working for lean organisations where creativity, judgment and initiative count.
