De Sangosse New Zealand is a fully-owned subsidiary of the De Sangosse Group France. The company specializes in servicing the agricultural sector with plant nutrition and rodenticide products and has been active in the New Zealand market since 2014.
De Sangosse Group is supported by Agronutrition, a leading specialist in foliar fertilization and plant nutrition. Agronutrition, also fully-owned by De Sangosse Group, started in 1967 and has a long history of contributing to better plant nutrition through a range of innovative solutions that are designed for correcting deficiencies, improving crop quality and plant health as well as responding to environmental issues.
As part of De Sangosse New Zealand’s strategy to grow its specialty plant nutrition business, the company is now looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager who can join their dynamic team.
The job
Reporting to the Business Manager - Australia and New Zealand, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the successful management and growth of the company’s lower North Island territory.
The role will develop and implement sales and marketing plans that drive growth and deliver profitable results for the business. The Regional Sales Manager will also analyse key markets, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to ensure long-term commercial success.
The Regional Sales Manager will build strong relationships with commercial partners, distributors and key industry influencers to understand and take advantage of market insights and drivers.
Primary target markets include high value cropping businesses such as viticulture, horticulture, vegetable, floriculture, broadacre and pasture seed dressing as well as other high value plant nutrition producers.
Location is flexible within the lower half of the North Island and a company vehicle will be provided as travel will be required.
The remuneration package is generous and compromises a competitive base salary, vehicle, annual bonus and an opportunity to buy into the company after one year of full employment.
The ideal candidate
You will be an experienced sales and relationship management professional, who has developed and implemented numerous sales plans and campaigns with a strong track record of success. With a keen eye for detail, you will have robust strategic, financial and numerical skills.
Additionally, you will bring a commercial spirit and experience in the viticulture and/or horticulture industry. Relevant tertiary qualifications would be preferred.
You will thrive under a flexible management style and be comfortable managing your own workload. You must be willing to travel. A strong communicator and natural problem solver, you know what it takes to get a job done.
