The Wine Portfolio is a privately owned, fully integrated wine company with wineries in Hawkes Bay and Kati Kati. This position is based at our Riverview site near Hastings.
We are looking for an experienced Cellar Hands to work within a small hands-on team who is dynamic and enthusiastic with strong communication skills, works well under pressure and has the ability to supervise others.
The role comprises:
• Day to day cellar operations
• Equipment maintenance and repairs
• Fruit receival and processing
• Pumping operations
• Barrel management and operations
• Laboratory operations
• Fermentation inoculations and monitoring
• Sample collection
