We're on the hunt for a passionate, and driven Jnr Duty Manager to join our Management team. This could also suit a very experienced waitron who is looking to take that next step in their hospo career, with sponsorship of LCQ and Managers Certificate available for the right candidate!

Seating 160 guests right on the water’s edge of the Waitematā harbour, we are one of Denizen's Top 10 All Day Eateries 2021, as well as a Metro Top 50 Café 2018/19/21. If you have a passion for service and the desire to lead a professional team in one of Auckland's top spots then this is the role for you. You will enjoy a large amount of independence and leadership in this role.

We provide a strong and diverse menu, beer and wine list, and a small classic cocktail list. We are dedicated to quality and executing a high standard over fads and fashions.

We are looking for an experienced Front of House professional to join our team through our busy dinner services. You will be an integral part of the management team, working alongside the General Manager and owner. We work together to improve every single day, and this means you are given respect, autonomy and an opportunity to bring your expertise to drive us in the right direction.

We are open for breakfast, lunch every day and dinner 5 nights a week shortly, so hours include evenings and weekends. This is a full-time role only.

You will have:

  • A minimum of two year's relevant experience in similar roles or in a senior waiter position within modern bistro restaurants and all day establishments
  • Leadership skills and ability to train others
  • A high standard and ability to uphold this standard at all times
  • Calm and composed under pressure
  • A proven history of longevity in roles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be passionate and driven
  • Have values aligned with ours
