As a Store Manager, you will be part of the great retail shop site, where your key responsibilities will be:
- Control the store’s range of products and its stock levels
- Maintain high service standards and deliver exceptional customer service experience while monitoring and upholding the Store's legal obligations with respect to the relevant Sale and Supply of Alcohol legislations
- Effective use of retail merchandise strategies to optimise Store presentation, promotional display and most importantly generate sales
- Overseeing all aspects of cash handling, budgeting, pricing, stock management, health & safety and, staff training, recruitment, and development by liaising with Store Manager
To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 1 Years’ experience in similar role or as a Duty Manager and must have manager certificate and Liquor Control Qualification (LCQ)
- Have the confidence to work independently without supervision, ensure store security, effectively manage time and delegations of work to be made
- Have a passion for premium wine, spirits, and craft beer
- Have the ability to deliver retail merchandise strategies with a unique and creative flair strong communication skills
- Have a passion for delivering world class customer service and proven track record in building lasting rapport
- Commitment in upskilling your team from on boarding, on the job training to specialist product knowledge
- Good understanding of NZ Health and Safety laws and the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
