An exciting position for a young business graduate with a passion for wine or a savvy Sommelier with a business degree to play an important role at one of New Zealand’s most acclaimed Boutique artisan wine Estate.
Being small means we have to be a little bit smarter and more creative but with the pride of being the ambassadors of amazing wines.
This is a busy, versatile and demanding job incorporating all aspects of our estate and knowledge in office, wine sales, marketing and International business is mandatory. You will need to demonstrate strong initiative, be self-motivated and able to grow our wine sales and profitability.
There is never a dull day and you will conduct tasting, tours, host Guests, Sommeliers and Wine Professionals from around the world, master the administration for everything wine and assist owner Therese & Hans Herzog in all wine related duties.
This role suits a well presented, charming professional with exceptional wine knowledge and communication skills who feels comfortable in a top class hospitality and organic wine growing environment.
You need to have excellent computer skills inclusive Microsoft Office Suite, Social media applications, Data base -, website and web-shop related applications, Mail-Chimp.
This job may require traveling and weekend work.
