Assistant Vineyard Manager
te Pa Family Vineyards Ltd - Awatere
Our fast-growing Marlborough wine business is looking for an outstanding Assistant Vineyard Manager. The te Pa brand has grown to represent impeccable quality, winning major international awards - and our acclaimed winemaking programme starts in the vineyard.
To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong technical knowledge of sustainable commercial growing practices, crop management, harvesting and fully complying with all SWNZ requirements
- A commercial mindset with the capacity to consistently optimize available resources for maximum productivity
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small team, always with an eye to accurately establishing and delivering on priorities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with supervision and mentoring to the fore
- Expertise in operating all vineyard machinery
- Willingness and a skill set to operate as each unique season dictates
