Indevin Ltd is a leading winemaking facility with wineries in Marlborough, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay New Zealand. We have a broad range of clients which offers our vintage team the ideal environment to gain exposure to a variety of winemaking philosophies and techniques.
We are currently recruiting for our 2018 vintage team. Typically, our Gisborne and Hawkes Bay vintage runs from February through to late-March, and our Marlborough vintage starts in March and finishes in late-April/early-May. During the busiest 4-5 weeks of harvest, our staff can expect to work 12-hour shifts over a six-to-seven day week.
Vintage Cellar Hands
Industry experience, practical skills and winemaking knowledge are an advantage. You must be practical and proactive in your approach to work and enthusiastic about the wine industry.
Vintage Laboratory Technicians
Applicants will ideally have a tertiary qualification and chemistry lab experience, although training will be given to successful applicants. The successful applicants will be responsible for grape maturity analysis, sampling and testing for ferments, among other analysis consistent with industry best practice in a fast paced environment.
Successful applicants will need to be physically fit, able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, plus have a passion for wine and the ability to work well within a team.
Vintage Forklift
Applicants will require:
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Current OSH & ‘F’ endorsement
- Attention to detail
The vintage forklift role covers a broad range of operations ranging from barrel operations, fruit receival, inward/outward goods and general harvest related tasks.
