New Zealand Wineries Ltd is an independent contract processing and bulk wine supply company servicing both the domestic and export wine markets. Our head office is based in the Riverland’s Industrial Estate just outside of Blenheim and we also have a facility in the Waipara region, North Canterbury.

With our continued growth we are seeking to recruit an Administration & Accounts Coordinator to our small team based at our head office. This will initially be a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week with additional hours anticipated during the very busy harvest season.

We would like you to have the following attributes.

• Experience in a general office administration environment;
• Two years accounts payable experience;
• nterest in pursuing finance and administration as a career;
• Familiar with the MS office suite of applications.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal capacity.
• Excellent attention to accuracy and detail;
• High energy, a sense of humor and enjoy team environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Providing support to the Financial Accountant
• Providing effective and efficient administration & accounts support to the office and winery;
• Executive assistance to the CEO and board of Directors as requested;
• Administrative assistance with projects & events;
• Creditor Invoice processing, reconciliation and payment runs;
• Act as back up for payroll;
• General assistance with vintage staff and harvest administration and operations.
• The role requires someone who takes ownership with a positive attitude and understands what being part of a team is about. The successful applicant will be someone who can demonstrate a great attitude, a discerning sense of humour and an inclination to get amongst it.
