We do things a bit differently and challenge what many wine makers call, the norm. We make special wines, often in limited release and we do it without the stiffness and snobbery that can so often be associated with wine.
We are rapidly growing and we have a need for an energetic Administration & Office Support person to join the team. You’ll be proactive, fun, understand accounts, and be great with the Xero accounting platform.
Of course, you will be much more than this and you will be keen to learn all areas of our business, getting involved wherever the need is greatest. You will enjoy working with people, have an interest in wine and be able to support us in further growing the business.
This is a varied role in which you handle:
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Payroll (SmartPayroll)
- Bank reconciliations
- Excise and GST returns
- Financial Reports, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting
- Inventory management
- Order processing and invoicing
- Wine Export Certification
- General office support
You will have:
A positive attitude and be proactive in nature with a desire to organize and streamline systems and procedures. You will be capable in working independently with competence, in managing basic accounting systems. We’re MAC kind of people, so a good level of confidence with the MAC operating system is required. Multi-tasking is critical, as we often have several projects on the go and deadlines to meet. Your friendliness will put people at ease and you will enjoy getting involved with our wider network.
The role is initially part time (30 hours per week) and could be flexible to fit around school hours, fitness, or your life in general. You will require your own car, a valid driver's license and be eligible to work in New Zealand. There may be scope to increase this to full time.
