JTC Viticulture is a family owned and operated vineyard management and machine harvesting company.
We are looking for an assistant field manager to join our growing team.
This is a hand’s - on role working in the vineyards reporting to our field manager and viticulture team. Key tasks will include:
- Helping with P and D monitoring
- Checking labour contractors and providing some quality control of their work
- Communicating the progress of labour contractors’ work to the field manager
- Some vineyard work such as pruning young vines may be required from time to time.
Experience in vineyard knowledge would be an advantage but full training will be given.
The successful applicant will enjoy a varied and interesting role working for a vineyard company with a focus on quality grape growing. Extended hours of work will be required based on seasonal demands.
Applicants will need to have NZ Citizenship or Residency.
