Some of your key duties will include:

• Managing the cellar door so visitors and guests have an engaging and memorable time that will foster future brand recognition and sales.
• Carry out cellar door duties including hosting, tastings, and sales.
• Manage all private functions such as weddings and dinners, when held in the cellar door.
• Manage stock levels and ensure accurate use of the stock management system.
• Recruit and develop a team of professional, friendly, and flexible cellar door assistants to work in the cellar door.
• Establish and manage cellar door staff rosters as we look to reopen the cellar door later this year.
• Ensure that the appearance of the cellar door is maintained at a high level.
• Answering customer and general enquiries.
• Supporting the sales and marketing team.
• Assisting the marketing manager with social media, marketing collateral, newsletters, trade, events.
• Packing and preparing online orders.

This is a cellar door management and marketing assistant role with lots of opportunity to try your hand at all facets of sales and marketing in wine, as well as helping us to grow in the direct to consumer space!
