Whitehaven Wine Company is a family-owned, premium wine producer in Marlborough, New Zealand offering outstanding regional examples of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and a range of other varieties and styles.

We are seeking a physically fit and motivated individual to join our small and friendly winery team.

Working closely with the Winemakers and reporting directly to the Winery Operations Manager, this is a permanent, hands-on role involved in all aspects of day-to-day cellar operations and wine production in our 7500T winery.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have good attention to detail and sound knowledge of all winemaking procedures and processing equipment. While preference will be shown to applicants with experience in similar roles, Whitehaven has a dedicated training program for those without experience seeking to enter the industry.

Key Responsibilities will Include: 

• Day-to-day cellar operations.
• Supervising a small team over the vintage period.
• Ensuring cellar hygiene practices are maintained.
• Ensuring H&S procedures are maintained.

Ideally you will have:

• A team player attitude and good sense of humour. 
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• A good level of fitness.
• A proven track record of previous experience in similar roles.
• Legal requirements to work in NZ.
